Advice for a career in the Air Force. Serious and informative answers only please?.

My husband joins FA. He received a 70 on his ASVAB. I want something safe … He wants a challenge. Already have a degree in mechanical Ass airplane and A & P. But it would do more than that. Because our credit is bad, he can not obtain a security clearance. What are the best jobs that require si no? What is there a need? It must be in training camp in 6 months (before he turns 28) Medicine or the weather seems interesting to me, but its his choice. Any advice on the career Air Force is appreciated.
